New horse feeding changes?

I would start by letting this horse have a few days of rest just to get used to his new surroundings. Do not change his diet during this time. Then I would introduce a vitamin feed. The one I use is called ``Equalizer`` this will not hurt the horse as it is only vitamins and does not give the horse any energy or make it hot. If the horse seems to be losing condition you may want to give it a bit of richer hay such as Alfalfa but introduce this gradually also. You could give the horse a bit of Sweet feed such as ``Oatena`` if it is in real hard work or it is very cold.
