Is it legal in the NBA to shriek at an opposing player as he shoots to disturb his focus?

In women's tennis they say it's okay for the players to shriek after hitting a shot, I was wondering what would happen if an NBA player tried that, or actually WNBA would be more suitable yet perhaps less funny...
