Hair loss??

I've been experiencing serious hair loss and i'm only 18. What kind of problem is this and what can I do to stop it? I've recently switched to using Burt's Bees shampoo & conditioner cuz it's natural. Although I don't believe it has anything to do with the shampoo but has anyone experience this too?
